After high school, I received a full scholarship to the university of Louisville, where i completed a degree in biology. (BA) I had my daughter and decided to return to college for a nursing degree, still at my fav... .UOFL . I then moved back to BG,when my daughter was 3 and worked at Greenview regional hospital in the ICU for 6 years. I decided that weekends and 12 hour shifts were just too much and returned to school. I then completed my masters in nursing at WKU and my certification as a Family nurse practitioner. I have been working as a FNP for the last 6 years at the FAIRVIEW COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER, in BG. it's a cool job! Never a dull day... that's for sure.
