I got married in October of 2013. Luckily we picked the weekend after the big blizzard, however we planned an outdoor wedding. So my in-laws snow-blowed their backyard to get rid of the 4 feet of snow in it and then two days before the wedding they laid plastic over the backyard due to the rain that followed the snow. Needless to say it was an adventure.

Our first daughter was born in April 2014. The weekend before her birth we had a snowstorm. It wasn't nearly as bad as the one before the wedding but we were worried. Luckily she held off and picked a weekend with nice weather.
