Tiffany Fischer (Revine)

I just wanted to thank everyone who has been asking about my boyfriend Carl. He is 1/2 way through his chemo and radiation treatments. We are both looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone. Thanks again for the love and support.

Hey- Yellow Fin is an excellent choice to host our event. I live about 3 miles from there. My wife and I have never been disappointed. Sad news hearing about Connie. Cancer is a wicked disease. See you soon.

Everybody's crashing at Mark's.

OK way to old to crash on the floor at Artie's house. Can someone recommend a nice hotel that's not to expensive and very very very close to the Yellow Fin? I'm sure there will be a few of us who need a place to stay where little to no driving is needed.

Ryan, Louise has reserved blocks of rooms at various hotels at different price points around the area and she is checking on whether or not they provide local transportation. The list should be up on the Reunion Update! tab soon. Even if they don't have a local shuttle if there are enough of us staying at each hotel we can all share cabs.

ALL - if you are coming from out of town be sure to book a room asap. I don't know what's going on in town that weekend but hotels are already selling out.

Hello everyone. I have not spent much time exploring class of '89 website. And honestly don't always open emails. But today I had a few minutes, so I desided to open and found out that I had messages! messages?! and that I could respond, and send messages! I am not very computer savey, and facebook, and myspace are a mystery to me. With all of that said.

Hello classmates! I promise to keep up with Forum, and send, and respond to messages.

Missing those High School Carefree Days.

My sister had her Mortgage Restructured!!!
With the Mortgage Crisis I though I would post it for anyone who may need it.

Hello! Pass this information to anyone who needs it. Our mortgage was crazy. All I'll say about it is that the numbers were different at the table then we discussed. Anyway, the good thing is we called Countrywide and told them that we would like to participate in project Hope ( A Maryland Program to Assist Homebuyers). During the process to see if you qualify for assistance, the lender cannot foreclose on your home ( 90 days). Anyhow, I then obtained a free advocate to renegotiate the terms of our loan. It took several months. This action placed us in project Hope until the terms were negotiated. We originally asked for 3.5% thinking there would be room to negotiate between 4% and 6% due to our credit. However, our advocate was able to secure for us a 2% loan, 30 year fixed and any money that is owed was added to the back end of the loan. Beginning June 1 when we make our first payment under the new mortgage contract we will be reported as paying on time. What a miracle! Our mortgage is literally less than half of what we are scheduled to pay under the original mortgage contract. We payed no fees, it is a restructure not a refinance. The advocacy group is called NACA. I(Myra) read about them in the paper and followed their work. Like everyone else, We were determined not to be had again. Toby and I are going out to notarize the papers today. Oh if you applied for a restructure, but kind of gave up and forgot about it, check with them. My co-worker got frustrated and feared losing her house so she took an offer from her lender months ago. She received a 3% offer because she never called NACA to cancel her participation in the program. You do not have to be behind in your payments. You just have to foresee a problem in the future. What does NACA ask in return for this act of GoodWill? They just ask that you volunteer with them so that you may help others just like yourselves.

Good Luck!
Myra & Toby

All,
I am working on a project for our 20th reunion and need your help! Some of you may remember the video the TV Media class put together which was shown during graduation. Some of you may not and I'm hoping to get my hands on it to show at the reunion.

My project is to make a new video from the past 20 years to show what we've been up to. SO...I need your photos from milestones in the last 20 years - marriage, births, events, trips, etc.

I have set up a photobucket account for everyone to upload their photos: www. photobucket.com
The user name is: gwynnpark89
Password: brandywine

Please upload photos here and PLEASE LABEL THEM so that I know who they came from, who is in the photo, etc.

If you have any questions or need help, email me at juliecraines@yahoo.com. You can also just email me photos if that's easier.

THANKS. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in September!!

jcr.

I still have my jacket & year books & some scrapbooks too! I'm surprised I still have them but looking back at some of the stuff I can still say that I feel like it was just yesterday.

Hello Everyone -

It was wonderful to see you all at the reunion. After reconciling all of our expenses, we had a total of $357.79. As promised, this money is being donated to the American Cancer Society in memory of our deceased classmates. I have posted a picture of the check on my profile page.

Thanks again, and I hope it is not another 10 years before I see everyone again.

Louise
