Kenny Fark

Kenny FarkKenneth Eugene Fark Jr., 31, formerly of Evansville, died yesterday in Brazil, Ind., after a long illness.
Mr. Fark was employed in building maintenance.
Surviving are his parents Kenneth and Judy Fark Sr. of Brazil; a sister, Beverly Gail Collins of Staunton, Ind.; brothers, Scottie Lynn of Brazil and Tony Fark of Terre Haute; his grandmother, Virginia Milburn of Cannelton, Ind.; and aunts and uncles.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Boone Funeral Home - 5330 Washington Ave., with Sister Ann Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

I sat by Kenny in Mr. Hills class. He was a very sweet guy. I never saw him get mad when people made fun of him, but look out if they picked on someone else in front of him. I ran into him a few times in later years and he was just as sweet.

Annie, you are so right. I was in that class with you and remember how kind Kenny always was and if someone was bothering you he would be the first one to tell them to stop and was always very respectful to us girls. I will always remember him and his kindness.

He was kind, and shame on some of us for ever making fun of his studdering. It's too bad we were all so young and stupid. I was often one of those young and stupid people, full of too much confidence, and not the tenderness that Kenny truly deserved at the time.
