
MARYVILLE, Tenn. – Bruce “Brian” Baker, 60, passed away Friday, Feb. 7,
2014, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn.
He graduated from Brewer High School in 1971 where he proudly played
football for the Witches. He was retired from J.J. Nissens.
He was predeceased by his parents, Richard L. and Regina Soucie Baker;
brothers, David, Larry, and Richard Jr. “Sonny”; and sisters, Mary Ellen,
Jean, Louise, and Patricia. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Diane
Baker of Maryville, Tenn.; sons and daughters-in-law, Ross and Brenda
Damon of Plaistow, N.H., Erik and Jenn Damon of Corinth, Chad and
Hillary Damon of Hermon, and Joseph Baker of Bangor; grandchildren,
Corey, Tyler, Cassidy, Alyssa, Abby, Cole Brian, Scotty, Ty, and Ashley;
great-grandson, Daniel; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Nevin Remaly
of Houston; brother, Lance of Summerville, S.C.; brother-in-law, Ken (Peg)
Fisher of Wapakoneta, Ohio; sister-in-law, Yvonne (Dom) Brooks of
Caribou; and several nieces and nephews.
