WESTON, ME - Daniel J. Hilyard, Jr., 28, of 42 Mount Desert Drive, died June 14,1980, at East Grand Lake. He was born in Presque Isle May 9, 1952, the son of Daniel J. Sr. and Marilyn (Currier) Hilyard. He was a 1971 graduate of Brewer High School and was employed by Bangor Mobil Homes. An avid sportsman and a sportscar enthsiast, he was also a member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by his father Sycamore, Kan; his mother of Brewer; wife,Rosemary (Walsh) Hilyard of Bangor; one daughter,Danielle Jo of Bangor; one brother, Peter T. of Brewer; one sister, Rhonda Willoughby of Bangor; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Elvina Cogswell of Houlton; maternal grandfather, Linwood Currier of Brewer; several aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Brewer, with the Rev. John Schule officiating. Friends may call at the Lawrence V. Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State St., Brewer, Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
