BREWER- Paul Thomas ''Tom'' Nichols, 50,died unexpectedlyat his home in Brewer. He was born Dec. 16, 1952, in Bangor, the son of Arthur W. and Barbara (Kelley) Nichols. Tom was a 1971 graduate of Brewer High School and 1975 graduate of the University of Maine, Orono. He worked for many years for the Maine Development Corporation and recently worked as a real estate appraiser for First American Appraisal Services. Tom loved hunting, fishing, and playing golf.

Surviving are two brothers, Chris Nichols and his wife, Peggy of Hudson and Bill Nichols of Longmont, CO; an aunt, Elaine Kotredes of Bangor; three nephews, Derek,Scott and Zack Nichols. Two nieces, Sarah and Brittany Nichols and several cousins.
