BANGOR - Wayne J. Taylor, 62, died unexpectedly Nov. 27, 2015, at a local hospital. He was born in Bangor the son of Franklin J. and Rita J. (LeClair) Taylor. 

Wayne graduated from Brewer High School, class of 1971. After graduation he served in the U.S. Navy. Wayne graduated from the University of Maine, getting his degree in journalism. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Scott and Bob. Surviving are his wife, Jackie (Varney); and sister-in-law, Joan Reichardt and her husband, Jim, of Florida. 

Services will be private. Arrangements were made by Memorial Alternatives, 205 Center St., Bangor.
