Bangor - Patricia J. (Brooks) Ferris, 70, died May 12, 2020, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center after a brief battle with cancer. Pat was born January 29, 1950, in Bangor, the daughter of Richard and Marilyn (Reid) Brooks.
Pat was a 1968 graduate of Brewer High School where she excelled at track and field and gymnastics. Pat was the drummer in a local all-girl band, the Dolphins. A lifelong resident of the Bangor-Brewer area, Pat worked many years for the Maine Department of Transportation. She loved spending time in Bar Harbor, particularly at Sand Beach with her children.
Surviving are her three daughters, Jody Reid Veillette of Brewer, Jill Reid of Brewer, and Jaime Ferris of Newburyport, MA.; her much adored three granddaughters, Harley, Haven and Sophia; and great-
granddaughter, Rhyan. She is survived by siblings, Ricky Brooks (Barbara) of Otis, Brenda Doiron (Richard) of Scarborough and Gary Brooks of Dedham. Pat was predeceased by her parents and brother, Mike Brooks. Pat is survived by her partner of 32 years, Leonal "Mitch" Mitchell and dear friend, Pam Chamberlain. Pat maintained a close relationship with Dale Reid and Joe Ferris, the fathers of her
children.
