Gold Canyon, AZ - Barbara passed away peacefully in her home on June 23, 2023. Born January 28, 1952, to John and Madelene Bartol in Brewer, Maine.
She graduated from the University of Maine in Orono, in 1974 in Biochemistry and she proudly worked at several of Maine's leading biotech companies. She retired in sunny California and Arizona.
Barbara is survived by her loving children, Kristin Markworth and John Schultz; loved grandchildren, Ben and Ellie Markworth; and her brothers, Curt, John, and Jim Bartol. Barbara was a gifted artist that also loved nature, and above all her papillons.
