Burnsville, NC - Mary Bunker Kidder passed away on November 18, 2024, at home, with her husband at her side, in Burnsville, North Carolina, at the age of 72. She was born in Bangor, Maine, on Feb. 16, 1952, she was the daughter of Donald and Harriet (True) Bunker.
She was a graduated of Brewer High School, class of 1970. The highlight of her working career was with the Department of Commerce at the U.S. Embassies in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Beijing, China.
Mary was predeceased by her parents; and sisters, Carol Tracy and Diane Eaton. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard "Rick" of Burnsville; brother-in-law, Ronald and Judy Kidder of Brewer, Maine; several nephews; and a niece.
She loved all animals - adopting many cats over the years and rescuing two Greyhounds, Sammy and Annie.
At her request, there will be no memorial service.
