Hermon - HERMON - Paul L. Ellis, 62, died unexpectedly, Dec. 4, 2014 at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. He was born Oct. 2, 1952 in Bangor the Son of Linwood E. and Thelma G. (McDonald) Ellis.

Paul attended Bangor Schools, graduated from Brewer High School in 1970 and married Rhonda in 1973. He owned and operated Interstate Irving, now Interstate Automotive, in Bangor for many years working as an auto mechanic and was an avid stock car enthusiast since the 80's. Paul was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Mary's Catholic Church, Bangor and was a member of the BPO of Elks Lodge, # 244, Bangor.

Surviving are his wife, Rhonda (Breau) Ellis of 41 years of Hermon; one son, Greg Ellis of Hermon; one niece, Susan Charette and her husband, Ronald of Brewer and one nephew, Scott Flagg and his wife, Sarah of Brewer; one brother-in-law, Gene Malo of Brewer; many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Anne Malo.
