ORRINGTON and HOLDEN - Clifford E. Johnson, 59, son of the late Edward and Cora (Copeland) Johnson, died unexpectedly July 25, 2011, at his home. He was born Dec. 15, 1951. Cliff was well loved and will be missed by all that knew him. He always enjoyed stories about his grandchildren and was excited about the upcoming birth of another grandson in December. He is survived by a long list of people who cared for him: daughter, Malissa M. Johnson; son, Matthew C. Johnson and daughter-in-law, Monica; three sisters, Marcia Cookson, Tina Taylor and Mary Jane Gosselin; brothers, Charles Johnson and Shawn Johnson; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and longtime friend, Marie Johnson-Poole. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Joseph; son, Benjamin "Ben"; and Ben's mother, Carla Colby. Graveside services will be held 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at Hillrest Cemetery, Wiswell Road, Holden, with the Rev. Robert Carlson officiating.
