Bangor - Janice E. (Treworgy) McCormack, 68, passed away on January 29, 2020, at Eastern Maine Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born October 16, 1951, in Bangor, the daughter of Laurance L. and Beverly (Leonard) Treworgy.
She graduated from Brewer High School, class of 1970. After high school, she worked for Diamond International for several years and then moved into the medical billing and coding field until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Green Lake. In her retirement years, Janice doted on her children and grandchildren.
We lost a very special lady in our life. She has touched so many peoples' lives, whether you were family or friend, she was caring, generous and fiercely loyal. While it's sad she is gone, she would want us to move on in life, united and strong. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her daughter, Meghan (McCormack) Fenders and her husband, Paul; her son, Michael McCormack; eight beautiful grandchildren, Gabrielle Fenders, Seaira McCormack, Gracelynne Fenders, Ethan McCormack, Genevieve Fenders, Gillianne Fenders, Gennelle Fenders, and Gwendolyn Fenders; sisters, Joyce Libby and Jayne Dickey; brother, James Ellis; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Interment will be private for the family.
