Holden and Sierra Vista, AZ - Brenda Bowden, 73, passed away on May 10, 2022, in Sierra Vista, AZ. She was born May 2, 1949, in Bar Harbor, ME, the daughter of Eldon (Bud) and Francis McLaughlin of Winterport, ME.
Brenda was predeceased by her parents and brother, Eric McLaughlin. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Stephen; and three sisters-in-law, Bonita Turner and her husband, Robert, of Windham, ME, Melanie Folsom and her husband, Galen, of Whetstone, AZ, and Jennette McLaughlin of Florida.
Brenda graduated from Brewer High School in 1967. She worked for several hospitals and doctor's offices in the Bangor area as a medical transcriptionist for many years. She was a dispatcher for the Hampden PD for several years. Brenda enjoyed camping with Good Sam and NAFCA. She also enjoyed the Anah Temple Shrine.
Brenda and Steve moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona in 2017, and she enjoyed the weather and walking her beloved dog, Riley, year round.
