BANGOR - Patricia A. Gott, 69, died Feb. 4, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, at Maine Veterans Home, Bangor. She was born March 17, 1942, in Brewer, daughter of Paul "Ted" and Elvena (Moores) Goodwin. Patricia is survived by her husband of 48 years, John Gott of Bangor; four daughters, Cindy and Chris Hauk of San Bernardino, Calif., Pauline and Jeffrey Grass of Glenburn, Theresa and Robert Wirta of Hampden, and Christine and Bert Bailey of Swanville; special daughter, Laurie Cates of Glenburn; sister, Arlene and her husband, Fred Brown, of Sullivan; brother and wife, Bertie Paul Webber and Nina of Hawaii; 11 grandchildren, Alicia, Jaime, Tisha, Kolt, Kurt, Nicholas, Daniel, Zackery, Benjamin, Bridget and Michele; and one great-grandchild, Kaiya. A special thanks to all her caregivers throughout her journey. A service of remembrance will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Rex H. Garrett, director of chaplaincy services at Eastern Maine Medical Center, officiating.
