Lt. Col. Robert E. Kiah, Jr. - Class Of 1960

Montclair, VA - Lt. Col Robert E. Kiah, Jr. (Bob) passed away peacefully this past Wednesday, September 26, 2018, surrounded by friends and family at his home in Northern Virginia. The son of Robert E. Kiah and Josephine Burrill Kiah, Bob was born on December 14th, 1941 at the Russell Hospital on Holyoke Street in Brewer Maine. He was born seven days after Pearl Harbor. Robert graduated from Brewer High School in 1960 and went to the University of Maine in Orono. He graduated from the University in 1964 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Robert spent one tour of duty in Vietnam. In 1972, he received his Masters Degree from the University of Michigan. He retired from the Marine Corps in 1988 after 24 years of service. Bob held executive positions in the Defense Contracting Industry retiring as a member of the Board of Directors and Senior VP for Computing Technologies, Inc. Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Kuniko Kinjo Kiah and other family including Robert III, Alison, Kevin, Haydee, Catherine, Robert IV, Ryan, Reed, Rachael, Kyros and Isabel and many close relatives and friends.
