HOLDEN - Kathaleen L. Arnold, 68, wife of Edson W. Arnold, died April 7, 2012, in Bangor. She was born Dec. 3, 1943, in Brewer, the daughter of John Andrew and Mildred Vena (Canty) Gass. Kathy was a graduate of Brewer High School and attended Husson College. She worked various jobs throughout the years, mostly for Eastern Fine Paper Corp., Pilot's Grill, and she also worked for and was a member of the Elks Club, Bangor. She is survived by her mother by a few hours of Brewer; her husband, Edson W. Arnold of Holden; two children, Scott A. Arnold of Holden and Lori Haas and her husband, Bill, of Phoenix; three grandchildren, Maddison L. Arnold of Holden, Seth Baker of Bangor and Kailee Deprey of Bangor; two sisters, Velma Stewart and her husband, Donald, of Old Town and Sally Zoidis and her husband, William, of Portland; three sisters-in-law, Joyce Winchester and her husband, Sidney, of Brewer, Peggy Holyoke and her husband, Ralph, of Clifton and Keneen Gass of Bangor; a special daughter-in-law, Robin Arnold of Holden; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father; and by a brother, Andrew "Andy" Gass. Her family especially thanks all her friends and neighbors who have always been there for her throughout the years. Family and friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer. A private burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer.
