Marcia Osgood (Clark) - Class Of 1962

Marcia Jane ClarkBrewer - On January 29, 2025, Marcia Jane (Osgood) Clark was called by her Lord and Savior at the age of 80! Thus freeing her from her brave battle with Alzheimer's Dementia. She was born on April 28, 1944, to James and Evie Osgood in Brewer.
Marcia was the very definition of the word "MOM" to all who knew her, regardless of their age. "Are you warm enough?" "Are you hungry?" "Have a seat, relax!" Mom was the kind of saint that showered love and kindness to all. But her true joy was her family. Her number one goal was to make sure none of us went without what ever was needed. Even if she had to go without unbeknownst to us. She was happiest during the holidays tending to her family's needs. Usually cooking an abundance of food to ensure that everyone had leftovers to take home.
She spent 60 plus years working as an office manager for various local companies. She took pride in becoming president of her local Maine Credit Professionals, Bangor branch, which allowed her to travel some. Memories she enjoyed sharing with those who would listen. Mom loved to crochet and make crafts. She attended many local craft fairs making new friends far and wide.
She was predeceased by her husband, the true love of her life, Donald Clark. Their life together was a love story in the making. Together they ran Murray Oil in Newburgh. Serving their neighbors and community, making sure that no one ran out of winter fuel whether they could afford it or not. Don and Marcia shared a love for NASCAR and traveled to many of the races. They would sponsor many local races in Unity and Speedway 95. Mom was a huge supporter of local NASCAR driver Ricky Craven's fan club. She and Don enjoyed the coast and never missed any of the grandkids sporting events.
She was also predeceased by her parents; her brother, Jim Osgood; sisters, Lorraine Passarello and Karen Floyd; sons David D'Amboise and Scott Clark. She leaves behind her sons, Jeffrey D'Amboise, Scott D'Amboise and his wife, Debbie, and Adam D'Amboise and his wife, Dana; daughter, Evie D'Amboise and partner, Donnie Black; sons, Roger Clark and Bryan Clark and his wife, Aubrey; her sisters, Christine Ward and Mary Osgood Gauthier; and brother, Mark MJ Osgood. She leaves a legacy of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a large extend family of friends. Worth noting was her special relationship with grandsons, Andrew and Paul Wilcox, who will miss her more than words can describe. In lieu of flowers, Marcia would appreciate donations be made to the Unity Raceway Rebuild LLC, ATTN: Holly Doyon, P.O. Box 53, Franklin, ME 04634.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Teresa's Church on South Main St., Brewer at 11 a.m. on March 1, 2025. A potluck gathering in her memory will follow directly after the service in the church hall. She will be buried with her husband in Pittsfield, in the spring. A notice will be posted. A special thank you goes to the dedicated professionals at Glenridge Medical Center, Garden section in Augusta that cared for Mom in her final days.
