Orrington - Marie (Vachon) Carrigan, 78, wife of the late Robert Carrigan Jr., died February 21, 2023. She was born March 23, 1944, daughter of Arthur and Frances (Boyce) Vachon.
Marie graduated from Brewer High School in 1962 and worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement.
She was predeceased by brothers, Donald, Raymond and William Vachon. She is survived by her treasured daughter and best friend, Jennifer Ring and her husband, Larry; and her dear son, Joshua and his partner, Tina Morrison. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Zack Daughtry, Laynee and Gabe Carrigan and his partner, Grace; their mother, Barb Carrigan; and great-grandson, Kairyn. In addition, she is survived by devoted brother, Robert Vachon, his wife, Nancy, special niece, Nancy McEwen and close nephews, David Vachon and Ron Vachon. She also leaves her "honorary sister" Linda Graham, in addition to Rebecca Vachon, Jane Gillette, the Carrigan family, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Marie's request, funeral services will be private.
