Survived By: Neil Ashton, husband Ward, children Shari, and Victoria.
Sharon was in the Class of 1963. We began dating during my college senior year. She graduated from University of Maine wih a BS in Ed in 1967, and a MS in Ed in 1968. She was an instructor at the University following her graduation. We were married on Jan 25, 1969, and moved to Ft Devens, Massachusetts. She began teaching in the Physical Education Department at Fitchburg College as the Director of Intramural sports, near the Army post. She left in June, 1970, as I was separating from the Army the following month.
