Penobscot - Josephine 'Jodie' Grindle, 72, went to be with her Lord and savior on Dec. 1st, 2017, as a result of ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease. She was born in Bangor, ME, the daughter of Alvin and Marguerite Hodgkins.
She was a nurse for many years who enjoyed helping patients. She had many private care families who grew to be great friends. She was a dedicated 30+ year member of Bucksport Bible Church in Bucksport and loved gardening and reading.
She is survived by husband of 29 years, James Grindle, three children, Kurtis Marsh and wife, Carissa, of Hampden, Kendal Marsh and wife, Rhonda, of NH and Bangor, and Kevin Marsh of NH; four grandchildren, Morgan and Ryan Marsh of Hampden , Shawna and Wyatt Marsh of NH; and sister, Anna Macleod and her husband, Brian Macleod, of Holden.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6th, 2017, at Bucksport Bible Church, 16 Central St., Bucksport.
