Douglas Lloyd Dwelley was born on 11 March 1946, in Maryland, United States, his father, John Freeman Dwelley, was 28 and his mother, Marilyn M Neal, was 23. He died on 8 April 2017, in Winter Haven, Polk, Florida, United States, at the age of 71, and was buried in Bowerbank Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft, Piscataquis, Maine, United States.
