Searsport - Peter A. Terry, 72, passed unexpectedly on Sunday, August 19, 2018, in Belfast. He was born the son of Brooks and Margaret (McKenna) Terry Sr. on April 1, 1946, in Lynn, MA.
Peter graduated from Brewer High School and attended oil burner technician school in Lewiston. He served six years in the National Guard. He was a proud member of the Mason Felicity Lodge No 0019. Peter worked and retired from Verso Paper Mill after 41 years. On May 29, 2004, he married his wife, Donna. Peter was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish with his sons and his friends. He had a great love for animals. He loved to have cookouts with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; his sons, Glenn Terry, and Dana Terry and his fiancée, Hannah; his stepsons, Chuck Hathaway and his wife, Penny, and Chris Hathaway; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; as well as one sister, Debra Fogg, and one cousin, Melody Park and her husband, Tom, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Brookie Terry, a granddaughter, Heather Hathaway, and a daughter-in-law, Lynn Hathaway.
