Bonita "Bonnie" Virginia Sorrell, 66, of Paris, Tenn., formerly of Covington, Ind., died Friday morning, Aug. 22, 2008, at her residence. Bonita was born July 24, 1942, in Orrington, Maine, the daughter of Charles Campbell and Katherine Cook Campbell Stone. She was married Dec. 1, 1967, to Robert C. Sorrell. He survives. Survivors include: her mother and stepfather, Donald Stone of Hancock, Maine; a daughter, Deborah Kathryne Hunt of Benton, Ky.; a son, Bill (Lora) Sorrell of Covington, Ind.; an aunt, Phyllis Beaulie of Dedham, Maine; and three grandchildren, Ashleigh Sorrell, Mackensey Sorrell and Garrett Preston Hunt. She is preceded in death by her father.
Bonita was a homemaker and had attended Christian Church in Indiana. She was a member of the American Legion in Maine and president of the Teamsters Auxiliary for women in Danville and moved to Henry County 2001.
