Dale Green - Class Of 1960

BANGOR - Harlan Dale Green, 73, went to be with the Lord May 15, 2016. He was born in Bangor to the late Harlan and Doris Green.

Dale graduated from Brewer High in 1960. In 1964 he graduated from Husson College and Officers Training School with a Masters in Business and named 2nd Lieutenant. Upon graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he was appointed Captain and was assigned to Eielson AFB, Alaska as Aircraft Engine Manager. Dale proudly served in the Vietnam War. In 1969 Dale returned to the states and held positions as Town Manger in Milo and Lincoln. After retiring to his home town of Clifton you could find him spending countless days at his camp on Parks Pond, where he enjoyed gatherings with family and friends and awaited what prank his cousin, Dusty and son, David, would have up their sleeve. Dale enjoyed snowmobiling, Sunday family drives for ice cream, his three labs and the taste of lobster and tacos.

Dale is survived by his two sons, David and his wife, Michelle, of Brewer and Capt. Danny and his wife, Holly, of Washington; his daughter, Jessica and her husband, Justin, of Bangor; and five grandchildren, Cassy and Cameron Green, Sterling and Parcher Green and Reagan Hatch. Dale was predeceased by his parents; and one brother, David.

Graveside services will be held at  at the VA Cemetery in Augusta.
