Robert Bowley - Class Of 1966

Orrington - Robert 'Bob' Silas Bowley, 70, died on June 15, 2018, with his family by his side, due to injuries sustained from a tragic motorcycle accident.
He was born on January 22, 1948, in Bangor, son of Robert W. Bowley and Mildred L. Keisor.
Bob graduated from Brewer High School, class of 1966. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Hartley and the USS Dickson.
Bob married Ellen M. Hallett on September 29, 1967. They were married for 50 years.
Bob worked as a brick and stone mason most of his life, a trade that he learned from his father.
He was a Charter Member of the Exiles M.C., a member of the American Legion, and the Elks Lodge #244.
Bob was loved by many, a devoted husband and loving father, a great man with a big heart who would help anyone who needed it, a well-respected and hard-working man. He was very proud of his brotherhood and loved them all dearly. Bob always had a great smile a hearty laugh, and was full of life.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Ellen Bowley; his daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and James Brown all of Orrington; step-granddaughter, Jamie Brown of Ft. Kent; his beloved dog, Emma, and cat, JJ; his sisters, Teresa Goody and her husband, James, Sandi Macomber and her husband, Jeff, and Kimberly Paradis and her husband, Craig; as well as a brother, Joseph Bowley; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his Exile family.
