Brewer - Lawrence P. "Larry" Robinson passed away November 3, 2018. He was born May 31, 1929, in Levant, the son of George N. and Annie M. (Bulmer) Robinson.
Larry graduated from Brewer High School, class of 1948. He joined the Army, and after basic training served in the Caribbean Command during the Korean War. Larry was a member of Messiah Baptist Church.
Larry's talent for photography finishing was apparent and he worked in this field for 40 years.
The town of Brewer will sadly miss this intelligent, witty citizen of South Main Street.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters, Ruth Estes, Ruby Kopcha and Janet Faulkner; three brothers, George, Donald, and Douglas Robinson; and a nephew, Richard Robinson. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2018, at Messiah Baptist Church, 985 Union Street, Bangor, ME 04401, with Pastor Gary Horton officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the church following the service Friday. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer.
