Marilyn Grant (Bragg/Cormier) - Class Of 1945

CLIFTON - Marilyn (Grant) Bragg Cormier, 83, passed away peacefully Oct. 28, 2010, with her loving family by her side at home. She was born July 20, 1927, in East Eddington, the daughter of Ralph S. and Marion P. (Rich) Grant. Marilyn attended grammar schools in East Eddington and Brewer Junior High School. She attended Brewer High School for two years and graduated from Higgins Classical Institute, Charleston, in 1945. Marilyn belonged to Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagle. She was a 25-year member of East Eddington Grange and a former member of Help Some How Club of the Clifton Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Richard J. Cormier of Clifton; children, Ronald R. Bragg and wife, Brenda, of Clifton, Kendra J. Tenney and husband, John, of Eddington and Kathleen J. Senter of Clifton; a sister, Joan Brown of Southington, Conn.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth E. Bragg in 1975; two brothers, Ralph Jr. and Lawrence; and a twin sister, Gwendolyn Thompson. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2.
