BANGOR - BANGOR - Elaine Gladys Sargent, 75, died Oct. 28, 2008, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Oct. 18, 1933, in Brewer, the daughter of Montell H. and Hazel H. (Maney) Sargent. Elaine graduated from Brewer High School in 1952. After graduation, she worked for Penobscot Savings Bank until her retirement. She enjoyed many fun filled days with her sister, brother and their families in Winter Harbor. She enjoyed golfing with her nephew, reading a variety of literature and visiting with her many friends. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Bangor. Elaine is survived by her sister, Alfreda Bacon; sister-in-law, Weltha Sargent; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Maurice Sargent. Elaine's family thanks the staff at Freeses Assisted Living, and Eastside Rehabilitation and Living Center for the loving care and attention Elaine received. A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at Greenwood Cemetery, Winter Harbor,
