Eddington - Carroll Lee DeBeck, 87, of Eddington, ME, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022. He was born in Orrington, ME, on May 3, 1935, to parents, Lee and Vera DeBeck.
A retired University of Maine Police officer for over 37 years. He started working at the Bangor campus then transferred to Orono. Working the athletic events was one of his favorite parts to the job.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; son, Patrick and nephew, Kenneth Jr. Carroll was predeceased by his parents; sister, Dotty; and brother, Kenneth.
The DeBeck family would like to express their gratitude to the Brewer Rehab and Living Center staff for their care of Carroll these last two years.
No service is planned and a private burial will be held at a future date.
