POLLOCK PINES, Calif. – Irene Patricia “Pat” Connolly, who was born Jan. 26, 1936, passed away Feb. 11, 2013. Pat was born in Brewer to George and Ruth Landry. She was the youngest of eight children.
She graduated from the University of Maine and became a school teacher. She married a young, dashing Naval officer, Robert Connolly, and had five children. Pat was extremely close to her children and grandchildren. Family was the most important thing in her life. Pat loved unconditionally. Everyone who met her, fell in love with her. She was a kind and gentle soul.
She is survived by her husband, Robert I. Connolly; and children, Kim Lindberg and Eric, Michael Connolly, Susan Connolly-Silvestri and Mike, Patrick Connolly and Dee, and Christopher Connolly and Mari. She had eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pat is smiling down from heaven. She is surrounded by her other great love, her many golden retrievers.
