In Memory

Marion Morrison (Perry) - Class Of 1937

Marion Jeanette PerryBrewer and Orrington - Marion J. Perry age 103, died May 9, 2023, at Brewer Health & Rehab Center. She was born December 28, 1919, in Brewer, the daughter of Elmer and Laura (Greene) Morrison.
Marion graduated from Brewer High School in 1937. She worked for over 25 years with Peg Bennett Dancers, served as secretary of the Brewer First Congregational Church and volunteered in later years at Eastern Maine Medical Center.
She was married to her high school sweetheart, David for over 50 years. They enjoyed many happy years together living in Brewer, Eddington and Orrington. She especially enjoyed the many winters they spent in Florida and also traveling around the country visiting son, Richard, at his many Air Force stations.
She was predeceased by husband, David; son, Donald; and half-brother, Wilbur Markley. She is survived by son, Richard of Orrington, daughter-in-law, Barbara, and granddaughter, Holly and husband, Phil of Peaks Island; great-granddaughters, Shay and Sydney of New Hampshire; sister-in-law, Jeanette of Addison, and nephews, Jay, Ward and Leon and their families of Clifton and Addison; also special friends, Larry and Cindy Harris of Orrington. I'd also like to thank the caring staff members at Brewer Health & Rehab, all the wonderful and supportive staff of Constellation Hospice and all those that made her feel so much at home at The Country Villa in Bangor.
Per Marion's wishes, there will be no services. Suggest those who wish to remember Marion in a special way make a contribution to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt Hope Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
