BREWER - BREWER - Percy A. Mailman, 71, died peacefully Dec. 5, 2011, at the Maine Veterans Home. He was born June 28, 1940, in Lincoln, son of Percy A. and Annie (Burhoe) Mailman. He attended Bangor schools and was a graduate of Brewer High School. He was recognized for his service in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was employed by National Cash Register for almost 30 years. He is survived by his son, Jonathan and his wife, Kathleen, of Brewer; sisters, Linda Hardesty of Bradley, and Gail and Manley Debeck of Brewer; brother, Bruce; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family thanks the staff of the Maine Veterans Home for their care and kindness. There will be a public memorial service 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at North Brewer Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Bangor Humane Society.
