BREWER - Margaret L. (Callaghan) Norris, 81, wife of John J. Norris, died March 12, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 23, 1931, in Brewer, the daughter of Maurice C. and Mae E. (McNamara) Callaghan. Margaret was a graduate of Brewer High School and was a longtime resident of Brewer. She was a communicant of St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Brewer, and was a member of Daughters of Isabella, Ave Maria Circle. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her morning coffee friends at McDonald's. Surviving are her husband, John Norris of Brewer; her daughter, Cathy of The Villages, Fla.; one son, Mike Norris and his wife, Laura, of Newburgh; and two grandchildren, Zachary M. and Olivia C. Norris, both of Newburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, March 16, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Teresa's Catholic Church, South Main Street, Brewer. A time of fellowship and refreshments will be immediately afterward at the parish center. Burial will be at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery, Old Town.
