Holden and Brewer - Margaret Ann Viricel, 74, passed away Dec. 5, 2017, surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness. She was born Nov. 22, 1943, in Brewer to Henry and Alice (Grant) Floyd.
She attended school in Brewer and graduated from Brewer High School, Class of 1962. She worked as a secretary for various organizations in the Bangor area. She was married to John Viricel and her most important job was being a mother to her four children. She enjoyed crafts and handiwork, especially finishing furniture. She was also an avid reader.
She was predeceased by her husband John, her parents, and six siblings. Margaret is survived by children Lynn and husband Bill Bissell of Brewer, Dawn and husband Mark Messer of Hermon, Mark Viricel of Orrington, Michael and wife Kelly Viricel of Scarborough; grandchildren Billy, Jeremy, Tony Bissell and Ryan, Brandon, and Eryn Messer; sister Susan Floyd; her much loved cat Hunter.

Friends and family are invited to visit 5-7 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2017, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer.
