Bangor - Deanna M. Byrum, 85, died unexpectedly August 30, 2024, at home in Venice, FL. She was born March 17, 1939, in Brewer, Maine, the daughter of Winfield and Elizabeth Eldridge. She was the youngest of the six children.
Deanna graduated from Brewer High School, class of 1957. She then married and settled into a home in Orrington to raise her 3 children. Once they graduated, she travelled to many states and countries throughout the years. Her final home was in Venice, FL.
Surviving are her sons, Theodore Fulton Clark Jr. of Sanford and Kevin Clark of Bangor; daughter, Suzanne McGrath and her husband, Paul, of Sanford; 3 grandchildren, Brandon and Gregory Williams, and Theodore Fulton Clark III; and 3 great-grandchildren, Beckett and Madeline Williams, and Oliver Clark. In addition to her parents, Deanna was predeceased by 3 brothers, Lawrence, Roland and Kenneth Eldridge; and 2 sisters, Marlene and Doris.
Deanna was someone who could light up the entire room with her presence and laughter. She will be missed by many friends and family.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend her graveside service 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Matthew Rd., off Ohio St., Bangor.
