I WAS A SGT IN THE CITY OF NEW YORK UNTIL 1997 WHEN I LEFT AND BECAME A SUPERVISOR AT ORANGE COUNTY, NY E-911. I RETIRED FROM THERE IN JULY 2008 AND NOW RUN MY BUSINESS PROCESS SERVING LEGAL DOCUMENTS OUT OF MY HOME. UPDATE : I AM NOW FULLY RETIRED I NOW ENJOY CAR SHOWS WITH MY CORVETTE, MY GARDEN AND OUR PONTOON BOAT ON LAKE NORMAN ...LOVE NORTH CAROLINA UPDATE: I HAVE COMPLETED 3 TESTS GIVEN BY THE FCC FOR HAM RADIO AND I AM NOW AN AMATUER EXTRA HAM RADIO OPERATOR CALL SIGN KO4VCK I USUALLY AM ON THE FLEETTALK REPEATER SYSTEM IN THE AREA OF NORTH CAROLINA AND SOUTH CAROLINA . ANY HAM OPERATOR CAN ACCESS THIS ON THE ECHO LINK SYYSTEM ON YOUR CELL PHONES IF YOU ARE ON THE AIR FEEL FREE TO CALL ME !!
School Story:

I TOOK NUMEROUS NYS FIREFIGHTING AND SAFETY COURSES OVER A SPAN FROM 1973 UNTIL 2008 WHEN I RETIRED FROM THE COUNTY 911. I WAS A VOLENTEER FIREMAN IN CHESTER, NY FOR OVER 27 YEARS AND WAS A CHARTER MEMBER OF TROUT BROOK ENGINE AND HOSE. I ALSO SERVED AS VICE PRESIDENT, PRESIDENT, SECOND LIEUTENANT AND FIRST LIEUTENANT OF THE COMPANY. I LEFT THE CITY JOB AS A SGT. IN 1997 TOOK THE COUNTY EXAM FOR SUPERVISOR OF 911 AND WAS ONE OF ONLY 5 PEOPLE OUT OF 75 TO PASS THE EXAM WITH A SCORE OF 85. I TOOK MANY TRAINING COURSES INCLUDING CPR, EMERGENCY MEDICAL DISPATCH, SUPERVISOR TRAINING, OSHA AND HOMELAND SECURITY TRAINING CLASSES. I WAS ALSO TRAINED IN DISPATCH AND QUALIFIED TO RUN NYSPIN (NY STATE POLICE INFORMATION NETWORK) DATA I WORKED WITH ALL THE POLICE, FIRE AND EMS DEPARTMENTS IN ORANGE COUNTY NEW YORK AND THE NEW YORK STATE POLICE. I MADE RECORDINGS OF 911 CALLS FOR ALL THESE AGENCIES ALSO, SO THEY COULD INVESTIGATE CRIMES, AND OTHER INCIDENTS.here it is dec 11, 2023 I sold the vette and the pontoon boat and I now am into Ham radio KO4VCK I am an amatuer extra operator and talk all over the world.

hey Chip it has been a long time since September 5th 1968 I still remember that day like it happened yesterday. I still think about you alot and wish the accident never happened to you. Ian and I were right in front of you and in back of you on our bikes, but somehow you were the one that got hit by the car. It could have been any one of us I guess it was a bad twist of fate for you and it was just your time in any case I am really sorry and hope you are at peace . I pray for you all the time  and if you hear me please pray for me too. the world is a different place now and there is so much violence and hate may god help us all.

Hi Linda
It has been cold here in North Carolina the past week .My wife and I celebrated Thanksgiving just the two of us. My wife Jill has been diagnosed with Breast cancer and she has to go for surgery next week and then 5 weeks of radiation. the outlook is good as we caught it early and I pray there will be no complications. I hope all is well with you and you are staying safe from the pandemic.
