I just realized you guys were posting here!

I would race my two-tone Ford Fiesta that I was forced to drive in high school but my dad finally agreed to send it to the car graveyard in 1989 when the axle broke trying to make one last climb up Battle Hill to visit.

Ok, I have changed my mind on what to race...gonna bring the 66 Impala instead!!! I better save all my money though, I think it only gets 2 miles to the gallon!!! Hey Patti!! I had fun @ lunch the other day!! What a dang HOOT!!! I think the waiter wanted to throw me, you and Stephanie OUT!!! And DANG!! My left shoulder is sunburnt from where we stood out side for...umm..2 hours!!!!! Cant wait to do it again!!!!!

I'd race what Will drove at Battle >:) You all wouldn't stand a chance. The K Car though <sigh> It didn't last long after taking out the Frye's mailbox after the graduation party.

Hey guys, I heard that Marie Thomas (now Crusenberry) had a heart attack last week. I don't know any other details. Does anyone keep in touch with her & know the status on that??

05/27/08 09:15 PM #22

Marie Thomas (Crusenberry)

I'm fine. I didn't have a heart attack. Just some electrode issues (hopefully nothing serious). Look forward to hearing from you guys.

Marie, I didn't know that you were feeling under the weather. Oh no! I hope all is well with you soon! Thanks to you guys at church the other week with Heather. She talked about that night for days and days. She had a good time.

I wanted to add that I didn't go to that party because I had to go out to eat with my family since it was a tradition. Both of my brothers went to a pizza place after they graduated and I couldn't disappoint my parents. Kimberly Miller came there to eat with us for a little while though. (And Leon was there too of course! LOL!) Kimberly was a very good friend to me back then and though we haven't seen each other since I got out of college and got married, we have written snail mail to each other ever since Denver was born 10 years ago!! Hey Kimberly!
That party sounded like alot of fun though. Too bad I missed it!

What do you know, I had a grand idea.

I set up a Photobucket account (at http://photobucket.com/) under the name of jsbclassof88, password is reunion.

Ok, now it is time for you guys to start uploading any and all pics from high school, elementary school, pics of all of us just having fun, school events, or other embarrasing pics from back then. I know I have quite a few pics, mostly from band, that I can scan and upload on there. So feel free, to log on and send us some cool stuff to remember once the reunion rolls around.

Again all you have to do is go to the site, login with above information, and upload till your hearts are content!!! Who and what will show up, we will see! I hope you all think this is cool, and maybe we could take them and do a slide show presentation at the reunion! Have fun and see you then.

OK, here is the url if you want to check it out or forward to anyone else to check out.

Please, lets keep the login and password just among us graduates of this year. Thanks.

Patti Silcox (Hubbard)

Ok, as I am going down the list of graduates, I noticed Heather Hall's name. I don't think she graduated with us did she? Maybe I am just losing my mind.

By the way, the photobucket idea is great. I will have to do some digging to find some old pictures.

LOL.....how funny that you did a photobucket site...I just found a picture of Patti from the third grade!!! And you KNOW that it's going on there!!! MUAH! :)

Angela Gilbert (Walden)

Hey Shannon, I found more than that-I have every yearbook from K-7 at Wallace and 8-12 at JSB. Oh the evil I could do, LOL!!!

Kelly Little (Huffstetler)

Photobucket is a great idea. I just asked Will Mullins if he'd be willing to put a slide show together for us but I know he'll be thrilled that you're going to do it Angela:)

Heather Hall didn't actually graduate with us because sadly, her parents moved the summer before our senior year. But, since she attended elementary school and most of high school with us, I had a request to add her. She was after all, Miss JSB!! I hope you will join us Heather!

05/28/08 04:19 PM #32

Angela Gilbert (Walden)

Will is more than welcome to do it, I just thought this way anyone can upload and access the pics. Then when it comes down to the wire they can just be saved and made into a show from that. I hadn't heard of anyone talking about it so I figured I would get the ball rolling. So if Will agreed to it that is great, it would probably be a much better show since that is his area of expertise. Now he will hopefully have that much more to use-if people will put them on Photobucket, or maybe they can send them to him if they aren't able to upload them via a scanner. My scanner is gonna be worn out in a few weeks, hahaha.

Angela, Thank God you didn't go to Valley Institute. I guess, I can consider myself lucky (or safe)..lol

05/28/08 09:14 PM #34

Shannon Vickers (Eldreth)

Me too Barbara! Me too! I only went to school with most of our classmates just our senior year... with the exception of the ones who went through 2nd grade with me at Hamilton Elementary ( Mendota ) Scotty, Kathy, Shelly, Kim W. and Leon Stanley. I think that's all :) ... before my parents moved us to first NC then SC. I was a pretty good girl at Battle, so maybe I am safe. LOL!

Yes, that's right, Heather Hall WAS Miss JSB! Ahem, she had QUITE a dashing escort, as I recall. Pushed her over the top in the judging, me thinks.

I love the photobucket idea. I wonder if I kept any of my pictures... <hmmm>
