Eileen A. Cashin, 46 years, of East Boston, formerly of Brockton, died unexpectedly Oct. 22, 2010, at Massachusetts General Hospital. Eileen was born Sept. 1, 1964, and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Alice (Twomey) Cashin. She attended Brockton schools and graduated from Stonehill College with a bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration. Her professional career was primarily in the restaurant industry serving as manager for such companies as the Odyssey Cruise Line, the Kin Sail in Boston as well as the Hilton Hotel chain. She loved to travel, gamble at Foxwoods and spend as much time as possible on the beaches of Falmouth. Eileen is survived by her loving brothers, sisters and in-laws, Jack Cashin of Brockton, Susan Munnelly and her husband Sean of Bellingham, Kate Pitts and her husband John of Avon, Conn., Paul Cashin and his wife Donna of Plymouth and James Cashin and his wife Sue of Franklin. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Eileen will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A celebration of her life was held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Wednesday 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eileen's name may be made the Dana Farber Cancer Institute/the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, Floor 6, Brookline, MA 02445-9924.
