Ronald "Sumo" DeCastro  

December 15, 1963 – April 24, 2015

On Friday, April 24, 2015, Ronald Thomas DeCastro of Gaithersburg, MD died unexpectedly at George Washington University Hospital. Ron was employed as an engineer for Fannie Mae since 2007 and previously employed by Charles Schwab and Co. Ron had a gift for always making people feel comfortable and had a great sense of humor. He loved to cook, enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach with his family. Beloved husband of Tracy L. Rouleau; loving father of Thomas and Ethan DeCastro; Son of Estela DeCastro and the late Tomas DeCastro; brother of Cheryl DeCastro (Bill Reilly) and Elaine DeCastro (Dave Dennison). Also survived by the Kennedy and Gardner family. Friends may call at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 917 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852 on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. Interment private.
