Melanie Denny McConnell

I went to Colorado State University to study veterinary medicine, met Brian on summer break, got Mono and never went back. I managed a pet store for 16 years (good lord!) with plans of buying it when the owner retired. I decided I wanted to do something else and started at QuikTrip in the stores in 2006 and moved into the corporate office in 2007. Caleb aka "Guitar God" is completely into 80's metal and classic rock. We spend many evenings comparing bands and songs. Oh the hours spent on the David Lee Roth Van Halen years vs the Sammy Hagar Van Halen years. As if there's any question. Ethan's a big teddy bear who wants to be a Jedi master when he grows up and work at QuikTrip.

I think the main thing I remember was finding new ways to terrorize Lisa Nirk, whether it was getting my Honda Accord on 2 wheels going around a corner or switching her lotion out for mayonnaise. She's one of my best friends, but it was just so much fun. Lisa, please forgive me.
