Sanfra (Sandie) Willis Case, 63, passed away Oct. 11, 2012, at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany, Ind.
She was an incredibly talented artist and donated many hours of her time to producing various publications for Christ Gospel Church. Sandie loved the outdoors, enjoyed traveling, and was a faithful member of Christ Gospel Church in Jeffersonville, Ind.
Sandie was born March 26, 1949, to Ralph and Mary (Neville) Willis in Clay County, Ill. She moved with her parents to the Willis family farm on Ash Creek when she was just a toddler. She attended rural schools there, eventually graduating with the Broken Bow High School class of 1967.
She then attended Kearney State College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971. That same year she married Paul Mischnick of Alliance. Tragically, Paul was killed in a hunting accident shortly before the birth of their daughter, Danielle.
Sandie is survived by her husband, Clyde; daughter, Danielle (Kirk) Johnson; grandchildren, Ellery, Lilly, Elsa, and Lucia; a sister, Sonja Babbit of Malcolm; brothers, Chuck Willis of Arcadia, and Ted (Kathy) Willis of Callaway, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and parents, Ralph and Mary Willis, lifelong residents of Broken Bow. Interment was at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jefferson-ville. Memorials may be made to Christ Gospel Church Missions.
