You were a good friend and a hero for your city and country.  RIP

9/11/2001 I was on the 67th floor of tower 2 when the second plane hit. It took twenty five minutes to get out. I owe my life to the first responders that kept us moving. I passed so many coming in as I was only focused on getting out. I owe Tom and all of them a debt I cannot repay.

I remember Tom as a friendly, funny and goodhearted kid. It sounds like he stayed that way.

First night I moved to lower Riverdale, I brought my two cats to an overnight boarder. As I walked north past the Fire House, I saw three etchings in stone of faces. I walked closer to get a better look only to recognize our beloved kind, funny and brave classmate, Tom. I It is a beuatiful likeness of this handsome man. The link that Patrick posted is a lovely tribute to this father and husband and son..May he always live in our hearts and prayers.

Meet Tom unexpectantly in a bar in NYC in 1980s. He was the same oldTom. Quick with a wit and had everyone's attention. It was a fun night. Sorry he lost his life on that fatefill day but he was a hero!
