Hmmm. 45+ jobs, lived in three states (Bronx, NY 58-79, LA & SF, CA 79-84 , NYC, NY, 84-95 Henniker, NH, 95-2000, NYC, NY 2000-2007, Bronx, NY 2007 - present) married once, divorced once. currently share my abode with two felines, Mr. HIggins and Eliza.. Hope to retire from my current job and fulfill my dream of living near the ocean..... I love where I work!! Provides me with daily opportunities to be of service to my fellow humans.

Finally - seriously - attended Hunter college from 2002 - 2006, immediately started Graduate School at Hunter to become a Math teacher... After a mere seven weeks ~trying~ to teach HS algebra, changed my mind, 1/2 way to a Master degree.....might return one day to teach ARITHMETIC! lol

Chubby Checker!! Jay & the Americans!! Rocking Horse Ranch!! Lots of yummy inexpensive butter heroes for lunch! THE most delicious tuna fish across the street in that deli...Maureen C's White Shoulder perfume (!?!) Hanging out in the school cafeteria much too much in senior year enjoying the jukebox! Loving Mr. Konrad's classes. Meeting Teresa T on Andrews Ave on Day #1 of Freshman year! Sharing loads of laughs with my bestest buddies in front and behind me.. Barry and Brosnan...learning how to "Wander Aimlessly" (Thanks, James T) and last but not least, With each passing year, deeply appreciating the childhood and the teenage years I've shared with so many loving, kind, friendly intelligent people.. We are all truly blessed and I am grateful to know all of you!!! (Yeah, some more than others....) Rock On!

First night I moved to lower Riverdale, I brought my two cats to an overnight boarder. As I walked north past the Fire House, I saw three etchings in stone of faces. I walked closer to get a better look only to recognize our beloved kind, funny and brave classmate, Tom. I It is a beuatiful likeness of this handsome man. The link that Patrick posted is a lovely tribute to this father and husband and son..May he always live in our hearts and prayers.

LOL! Thanks for the title, Michael.. I think it's safe to say that I love to communicate. I also think it is great that I can write without the bottle of chianti sitting next to me .. I used to (think I) needed that to write my mental meanderings as many of you know and a few commented on.. .. Hah! Like Elton says, "I'm still standing." Thank God...

I just read that you won't be making it.. SInce I also live in the Bronx, now that I see what you look like 40 years later,, (BEAUTIFUL!) perhaps our paths will cross in da Bx one day... What area are you teaching? I have a gazillion schools in my neighborhood..
