Chuck was a kind and tall soul that took me to Junior prom. Over the years we always stayed in touch at Christmas time. He has a beautiful wife Penny, son Chuck, daughter Rebecca and 5 beautiful grandkids. When I was a single girl living in Phoenix after college, I ran into Chuck at a bar in Scottsdale. He lived in Phoenix, Las Vegas and then Prescott. I believe he met his wife Penny at the hospital where she worked in Las Vegas. Chuck loved those precious grandchildren, 3 of which live in Prescott. He knew that his health was failing and he decided to attend the last BCHS reunion and visit his two sisters in Wisconsin. Had I not moved away from Phoenix, in 1986, I would have visited him and his family. He had a God-given ability to build and rebuild vehicles which he shared by teaching at his local college.
