Glenn would have been a member of the graduating class in 1966, but died during our sophomore year during a basketball game. He was a very nice guy, very bright and died way before his time.
Glenn died the summer of, I believe, 1964. He was a neighbor, and my parents knew his, I think, through church. He had a younger brother. He was the first person of "my age group" that I knew who died..........Until then, I guess I thought we would all live "forever" and were "invinceable." And, because he did not die through a car accident, or some other form of accident, it made me recognize "mortality" at any age. I remember him as a very nice young man, musical, and athletic. He certainly had great potential. A very sad loss, and, yes, way before his time.
