We have the party room reserved. Wooden Legs has snacks and space to sample some of their various homemade brews – but if you are so inclined, NICK’S is just across the street on the corner, so you can enjoy some hometown favs!!! Or maybe you can have some Pizza King brought over – or a slice of George’s Pizza.

Night time bowling at the Prairie Lanes (?) [cuz bowling after lots of beers sounds fun – RIGHT!?!?]. We have 4 lanes reserved – it is $3.50/game and $2.00 for shoes.

Saturday, July 13

10 am: Tour Brookings High School (you can imagine that it’s changed a bit in 40 years!) Brookings High School: 530 Elm Ave, Brookings, SD 57006

Noon: Climb the Campanile – and if you successfully complete it – you get a complimentary ice cream cone from the SDSU Dairy Bar (served for you across the street at the SDSU Foundation)

Afternoon at the Summer Arts Festival (on your own)

    • Oven roasted chicken and meatballs
    • Two chef choice pasta options, with house marinara and alfredo sauces
    • Caesar or house salad and breadsticks
    • Assorted mini-desserts
  • $35/person covers tax, gratuity, facility rental, decorations, class webpage fees, gifts to the families of classmates who have passed, and any other misc. costs. If you would like to donate extra, those funds will be used to assist classmates who may not be financially able to attend, and/or will help us with our reserve funds for the next reunion).

Dusk: those who are interested, a bonfire at Lake Campbell hosted by LaQuita (Lollie) Syrstad. We have several pontoons for some moonlight trips on the lake, and a release of some Japanese lanterns.

Sunday, July 14

Folks are on their own to connect before saying farewell - - - breakfast, picnic, drive around the city, or hit the Summer Arts Festival one last time (get some of the “Art in the Park” food and then hit the road!).
