After Tilden, I became an EMT.I then went back to school to become a surgical technician, which has been my career for the past twelve years. I was blessed with my wonderful son in 1999, which helped hold me together,when I lost my mom to breast cancer in 2000.I'm currently residing in Brooklyn with my son.

I first got to Tilden in 1981. I was shy as hell and hated every minute of it. Barbetta Jones was my aunt's neighbor back then. She happened to be on the cheering squad and encourage me to join.I told her those capt's {Sharlene and company} were in my homeroom and they look mean. That girl taught me every cheer there was to know along with the attitude to go with it. Needless to say I made it and the rest is HISTORY!
