School Story:
Some of my favorite memories of those BHS years were:
driving through the city park and having water balloon fights from the back of pickup trucks. I remember one night when Officer Brown caught us with a box full of water balloons (ammunition) and made us bust them on the ground in one of the parking lots on the drag. Officer Brown was in the middle of telling us how dangerous our activities were when Mike Gray peeled out at a red light in his new car, a Javelin , I think. Officer Brown told us to wait right there and that he would be right back, after he gave Mike a ticket. I don't know if he ever caught Mike but I know we didn't wait around for Office Brown to come back!
...loading the car up with friends and going to look for the Oak Grove ghost. That was pretty creepy/scary.
Growing up in a small town was pretty cool. That's one of the reasons we moved from the city to the country. I drive to downtown Ft Worth every day but my home is in the country. Every days a vacation...
